As one of the 37,244 people who signed my petition calling for fair and sustainable hospice funding, I wanted to personally thank you.

When you added your name, you gave a voice to thousands of patients, children and families who could not speak for themselves.

I also wanted to let you know what your support has helped achieve.

Together, we have taken this issue from a public petition to Parliament, where almost 300 MPs and Peers, from every major political party, have now publicly backed the call for fair and sustainable hospice funding. Together, we have taken that message to the gates of 10 Downing Street.

Sadly, despite that progress, the hospice funding crisis has continued to worsen.

I believe we are now at one final opportunity to show our Prime Minister that this isn’t just the voice of Parliament or the hospice sector.

It is the voice of the people.
