Pressure works — hospices need it now

Last year, 40,000 of you fabulous people added your names to a call to protect hospice care.

Since then, the situation facing hospices has worsened — leaders are now openly saying they are at breaking point.

This week, Government showed something important: when pressure is sustained and public, it does act.

There is an immediate solution available: using the first £100 million of FCA bank fines as emergency day-to-day funding for hospices to buy breathing space through winter and into spring.

We need visible public pressure again.
