We know that ALL dogs are in DANGER there and we’re given no warning about who will die next.  MIRJA was in the “so urgent it could be tonight” category.  She was at a tipping point of stress, where even the slightest “wrong move” would have made her disappear.  

And then, at that crucial moment a young man named Dan made his way to the pound and saved her life.  Gave her a second chance.  Gave her life.

Our mission is to STOP THE KILLING.  To help people see that there is a NEW and MORE LOVING, COMPASSIONATE way to build a No Kill Shelter.  

Chicago ACC has kllled 1,400 dogs since January, 2023.  We NEED 10,000 signatures before we testify in front of the City Council Meeting on September 13, 2023!  We are SO CLOSE!!
