Public Meeting to discuss Pink 22 route closure
As you will be aware, we unfortunately had to postpone our community meeting to discuss bus services in Caversham Heights due to the heatwave last week. My team and I have been working to rearrange the meeting and we can now confirm that the new time and date have been finalised. Please find the details below:
Time: 7.30-9.00pm
Date: Monday 6th July
Venue: The Main School Hall at Highdown Secondary School and Sixth Form Centre
Address: 69 Surley Row, Emmer Green, Reading, RG4 8LX
If you will be able to attend the meeting, I would be very grateful if you could RSVP on the following link so that we can prepare for the numbers expected: https://mattroddamp.com/pink22meeting
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss whether there is a way to maintain bus services in Caversham Heights, and representatives from Reading Buses, Oxford Buses, the transport team at Reading Borough Council, and other key stakeholders will be in attendance and will be able answer residents’ questions. I hope that a solution can be found as I know how important this is to local residents.
Thank you for your engagement with this important local issue and I hope to see you at the meeting, you can also email me at mattroddampcasework@parliament.uk
