The southern electric traction group, has today (17th February 2026) announced that  unit 455871 has been preserved in its new depot (Strawberry Hill)

Thanks to all of you that have signed, this move would not have been possible!

While many units have been scrapped. It is now safe to say that this petition has made change with 1,569 supporters!
