🦉 Important Notice for Visitors
- The current bird hide at Roseisle will be fenced off in early October due to safety concerns.
- It is scheduled for removal by late October or early November.
🦉 What’s Next?
- We’re hopeful that a community-led charity (SCIO) will be established to pursue funding for a replacement hide - we have interested persons.
- Forestry and Land Scotland (FLS) support this initiative and welcomes community involvement.
- A new hide will only be possible if the community-led charity (SCIO) is formed to lead fundraising and planning efforts.
🦉 How You Can Support
- Donations or funding suggestions (e.g. grant opportunities, community funds) are welcome and will help the SCIO move forward.
- Visitors may still bring food and water to help the birds during the winter season
- Continue to share the online petition to show visible community support—this strengthens future funding applications for a replacement hide.
