Patterson Farm Preservation, Inc. has retained John VanLuvanee, Esq. of Eastburn & Gray, Doylestown, PA to facilitate amicable negotiations with Lower Makefield Township for restoration and use of historic Satterthwaite Farmstead.

The farmstead has remained vacant following the death of Alice Patterson in 2005, when township officials evicted the Satterthwaite House tenants.

Our organization has presented the governing body with a proposal for Patterson Agriculture and Heritage Center, to honor the legacy of Patterson Farm and provide educational programming while supporting the continuation of agriculture. If Patterson Farm is restored and properly stewarded, the community will celebrate the farms 350th anniversary in 2033.
