Years ago an online petition was instrumental in obtaining a lasting preservation deed restriction for the majority of the 234 acres of Patterson Farm in Pennsylvania. The volunteer members of Patterson Farm Preservation, a not-for-profit group that was formed to support the farms' preservation, are now appealing to the public to support restoration of Patterson Farm's historic homes, barns and buildings.

Patterson Farm is eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places, but its structures have fallen into disrepair since 1998 when Lower Makefield Township obtained the farm. Lack of funds and lack of commitment to the cause for preservation by government decision-makers have resulted in deterioration and damage to the farms historic structures. We seek the townships' approval for our volunteers to begin restoration work without further delay.
