We are very close to reaching 13,000 signatures and we are already getting media attention specifically due to the petition! Thank you all so much for your support! There will be a bigger update tomorrow regarding next steps, but we would like to address something first.

It has been brought to our attention that some people have donated to change.org thinking they were donating to the Ferry. The Balboa Island Ferry is currently not taking donations or is crowdfunding. Donations to Change.org DO help boost our petition and get us noticed more, but ultimately that money goes to change.org and we understand that was not everyones intent. 

I have been working with change.org all day and they have removed the pop-up window. This means the petition cannot be boosted at all now, so do please share it, but we would much rather do things that way than have someone making an accidental donation.
