This document is an excerpt from the Evening Telegram newspaper from March 1908. The article titled “a visit to the west coast” written by traveller who visited Newfoundland in 1907.   The writer provides description of various known Mi’kmaq communities on the West Coast, and interestingly enough may even mention some familiar names.    This article clearly provides a historical lens on the use of the land, and their families.   Thank you traveller.
