We were hoping a formal announcement from the administration of Penn State Altoona would be forthcoming, but I can no longer wait to share with you the semi-good news! Your voices were heard and there has been a partial retraction from the closing of art programs at Penn State Altoona. The Dance Studies minor will continue; however, the Integrative Arts major is still closed and will remain so.

We are busy creating a ‘new vision’ for the performing arts at the Altoona campus, fully requested, recognized and supported by the administration. Look for lots of new initiatives, please get involved, support the arts in person at the Altoona campus.
