Trustees confirmed removal of the All Weather Lifeboat

"Tonight it was announced that the RNLI trustees have confirmed the decision to remove the All Weather Lifeboat from Aldeburgh and replace it with an Atlantic 85.
A large proportion of the meeting discussed the way the RNLI has ignored all of the views of the station.
The final section discussed a press release and the crew asked that no reference be made to "the RNLI working collaboratively with the crew" was included or any mention of "being excited at the new prospects". We are not excited we are sad and disgusted at the way we have been treated through the whole process. (But I'm sure they will ignore that request as well)"
