We posted updated petition materials to Governor Inslee and members of the State joint Transportation Committee today. Materials were reposted on Next Door, the Portage Bay Forum and Facebook.

We sent the petition link to Marine Construction magazine asking the governor to give marine construction a fair shot at this project.

Thank you all for signing and sharing we are closing on 500 signatures.

Your signature helps send a message to highway builders that, while we support this project, we are opposed to covering 9 acres of Portage Bay with temporary work bridges and opposed to unnecessary destruction of live ability in our neighborhoods. 

More importantly your signature supports an alternative positive view of a better environment on Portage Bay for the next six years and for our children and grandchildren.
