Victory!

Our mountain schools are staying open! Tonight’s 6–1 vote is a victory for our children, our families, and the mountain communities we call home. ❤️🏔️

Behind this outcome is a valiant community effort. To everyone who spoke up, wrote letters, attended meetings, shared their stories, and kept fighting for our schools—thank you. Every voice mattered.

These schools are the heart of our communities. They bring generations together and give our children a place to learn, belong, and grow close to home.

Tonight, we celebrate what we stood together to protect. We are small communities with strong voices and an incredible amount of heart.

United we stand. Tonight, our mountain communities have so much to be proud of. ❤️
