This is such wonderful news! Over three thousand of you have signed this petition because you care deeply about Spearmint. I will continue to post updates as I have them. I will not be closing the petition at this time, however, because it's unknown if Spearmint will be able to be free and wild without running into problems with people once again.

I personally am grateful to the RSPCA and all involved with Spearmint's rescue and care and all of you. I do wish they would still publicly state that a seal sanctuary is a back-up plan, but for now let's focus on wishing her success!
