We had an amazing turnout for the protest outside Islington town hall on Thursday. There was loads of noise and joy and emotion of people showing their love for the ice rink and their will to keep it. We also had a meeting with the councillors mainly from labour but a few legends from the green party who spoke in support of us. There will be more updates in the following days but I wanted to say thank you to everyone who has signed the petition, shared the petition, and people have donated money to spread awareness of the petition! Also the comments letting everybody know how much the Sobell ice rink means to everyone are super inspiring and awesome. You're all amazing and if we keep sharing and signing and protesting and meeting perhaps we can save the Sobell ice rink.
