As the year winds down, we just want to say thank you. Your support, signatures, and voices have helped turn Sledge Forest into something bigger than a place — it’s a movement rooted in a shared commitment to saving this ancient, nationally significant forest and the wildlife that call it home.

Our hope for the new year is that 2026 finally brings lasting protection and lifts the looming threat that has been hanging over this irreplaceable ecosystem we are fighting so hard to protect.
