This will be the final update for this petition. 

Due to the influx of warm and considerate messages I have been receiving about its deletion, this petition will not be deleted, but it will not be getting any additional votes. From your comments, it is evident how this petition has sparked hope within the fandom, and, while it may take years before our show is saved, it still a symbol of hope in regards to the advocation of season 3. But, because the Summit was mainly focused on the crows and the development of the spinoff, the votes have been on pause, and this petition will now focus on getting season 3 of Shadow and Bone. 

To expand more on the previous petition update, I previously decided to end this petition due to the toxicity that I, and countless others, have received as a Darklina fans. I have tried to discourage any hatred towards Darklina and its fans, as it is the most popular ship in the general audience, but nothing seemed to work. Prior to the Third Army Summit, Darklina fans and I were labeled as being "racist" by an individual in the Save campaign because of what we shipped. This experience has not only been a detriment to the Darklina ship and the supposed inclusivity of this fandom, but also my mental health. Due to this detriment, it would have been better for me to delete the petition and move on. 

My final request is for this petition to be an independent project of mine and not under the jurisdiction of the Save campaign. If I see anything where the Save campaign is still utilising my petition for their own gain, there will be consequences. This petition only advocates for Shadow and Bone season 3 and its main protagonists--as seen per the title--and if the campaign wants to create their own petition for their spinoff, they are more than welcomed to in order to solely advocate for their spinoff. 

Thank you for your support these past eight months, and hopefully something comes our way. Until I hear any news about the development of Shadow and Bone season 3, the votes will be on pause.
