We’re excited to share a major update: Sandbox Symphony has been issued a conditional permit by the Chicago Park District, and they are no longer asking for the $40,000 beach impact fee that previously put the event at risk.

While we haven’t received an official explanation, what matters most is that Sandbox Symphony X is happening on Oakwood Beach, August 9, 2025—and we want you there with us.

This year marks 10 years of celebrating art, music, wellness, and community, rooted in the cultural legacy of Greater Bronzeville and the spirit of the lakefront. We're building something beautiful, and your presence matters.
