Thank you to everyone who signed and shared the petition to save Salmon Bay Marina from closing. The Port of Seattle refused to listen to citizen concerns and is moving forward with their still-unclear plans for redevelopment. What is clear is that 150+ recreational boats, legal liveaboards and houseboats have been displaced without due process under the auspices of safety. The Port staff and commissioners were unyielding in the negotiations to come to a fair resolution for all those impacted. It was never a fair fight.
