It’s not exactly what we were after but there will still be some SWAT universe with S.W.A.T. Exiles coming with shooting to begin later this year. Shemar will reprise his role as ‘Hondo’. It’s scheduled to be 10 episodes so let’s make sure to watch & support it & give it an extended run. 

The other great side of this is Sony said the spinoff will employ the same 200-person production crew that worked on S.W.A.T.
