For any vineyard owner operators, if you are struggling to put food on your table or pay your bills this message is for you!

It been brought to my attention that so many farmers are missing out on a grant that can help support your family through these hard time.

Farm Household Allowance is money allocated to our Agricultural Industry, payments of up to $693.90 per fortnight/per person. Farmers are eligible to receive this payment for 4 years out of a 10 year period.

If you have received this payment in the past, please know that the clock is scheduled to be reset on the 1st of July 2024.

The application process to receive Farm Household Allowance can be very daunting and it does take a lot of time to fill out correctly.

I encourage any farmer, that is currently struggling (EVERYONE) to see our Rural Financial Councillors in Berri, they are able to help with the application process, making it simple, and having someone that knows how to get through the paperwork is very helpful.

Do not self assess!

Talk to Llyod and the team at Rural Business Support, you’ll be amazed you may be eligible, even if you don’t think so, even if you haven’t been in the past!

I can’t stress this enough, if we are not making use of the current government allocation, and showing them we are in financial difficulties, they do not know and no other supports will be given!
