We need more signatures to try to stop the Christchurch City Council's plan to allow high-rise residential building in our suburbs.   
We are presenting the petition to the planning panel on November 8th.

City council planners are now recommending higher (eight or even nine storey apartments) in Riccarton.  In Hornby and Papanui it is now six or seven storeys.
Planned intensification is justified, but high-rise developments in our suburbs are not needed, will not produce more affordable housing, and may simply destroy existing communities.
