Ranelagh Post Office will cease operations on Wednesday September 30th following the recent announcement that Ranelagh Spar is closing. With no confirmation of a new location for our local Post Office services we are urging our local politicians and public representatives to put pressure on An Post to find an alternative location and retain this essential service in the community. 

Our proposed solution

The vacant unit at Ranelagh Luas stop would be an ideal home for the future of Ranelagh Post Office. The building has been idle for too long and Transport Infrastructure Ireland only recently submitted plans to DCC to upgrade and secure the unit. We are urging our local TD’s to engage with both parties and propose this move to keep our postal service alive.
