With over 1800 signatures, I am submitting the petition for review to Council and therefore closing the petition. 

I cannot thank you enough for the support, comments, shares and signatures for this issue. Special thanks to those who reached out to councillors/Halifax planning directly and those who assisted me with these efforts. I hope that our voices will be heard and that this green-space will continue to be available for our future generations' enjoyment and ultimately protect the environment here.

While there are many valid issues we face as a society we must remember the climate crisis needs to be a top priority. Without a healthy environment, we have nothing.
