We're so grateful for KGW (local TV station) for taking the time to interview and capture the vibrant community at PAC and tell Marion's story well. Tune in tonight at 11pm!
Tennis pro, Jack Neer, 91 year old coach and friend of Marion was there as well. Jack has been coaching at PAC since Marion asked him in 1977.
We also had multiple kudos for Coach Anthony Blackburn, Marion's son, and the huge impact he's had on so many people. Carrying on his dad's legacy of Black excellence in tennis and making tennis accessible for all people.
We had a "packed" house with a wide diversity of ages, ethnicity, and tennis experience but a strong unity for our passion for PAC, the Blackburn legacy, and tennis.
