Thank you all for your support to date! In less that a day we have gained over 140 signatures with many more invitations to go out. The buzz is positive and we have yet to post our Battery secrets on how HRM and the Feds put our heritage in such a state of disrepair.
Our media blitz has been very receptive with our first INTERVIEW with William tomorrow Tuesday at 1045 on the Todd Veinotte show at 95.7, with an afternoon encore at 1745.
Please remember to tell your friends and co-workers of this fine cause to save Halifax's wartime history. The Battery was where the Harbour submarine nets were located to stop those Nazi submarines getting into the inner harbour. They made it to Ketch Harbour but not downtown. That's priceless Canadian and Halifax, NS history!!
Those Nazi subs got into New York harbour during WWII BUT NOT into Halifax Harbour! Our objective of course is to continue to remember those Batteries in person in Point Pleasant Park.
