All of your signatures have helped us to reach 20,000 signatures in just 4 months. We hope to use this overwhelming public support to convince the politicians to implement  the Forest Bridge proposal, before anymore significant damage to Pine Creek koala habitat occurs.

But we are not there yet, Forestry Corporation of NSW intend to commence logging within weeks unless there is ministerial intervention. In light of this forest defenders have stepped in to guard Pine Creek State Forest from the machines. We are grateful for the support of Bellingen Activist Network in setting up a forest camp at the entry to the forest. Many dedicated forest defenders have given up their time to hold vigil in the forest.
