Our petition to Save Petone Wharf now has well over 5,000 signatures (electronic and hard copy) thanks to everyone's efforts. A special thanks to the numerous local businesses who are hosting the petition or providing other support. Please keep circulating the petition link, as every signature counts!

Hutt City Council has now launched the Long Term Plan for submissions - open until 3rd May. Both options for Petone Wharf include its demolition. We need a wave of written submissions to reverse this approach.  Come to our drop-in sessions at the Petone Library meeting room any Wednesday this month - 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th April, and 1st May - 4pm until 5,30pm and find out how to make a submission.  Once we have reviewed the Draft LTP we will be including tips and comments on our Facebook Page to help people make submissions -  https://www.facebook.com/SavePetoneWharf2024/. You do not need to be a Facebook user to access this page, but we appreciate all "likes" and welcome all new members.

If you are a Hutt City resident, look out for the various meetings which are being organised around the district about the LTP. Come and talk to us and pick up a flyer or a bumper sticker. See you there!
