Our on-line petition to save Petone Wharf from demolition has passed the 2000 mark, with about another 500 signatures on our paper copy petitions.  Your support is much appreciated as we build towards convincing the council that keeping this Petone icon is much better than taking it away. 

We are making a brief presentation to the Long Term Plan Committee (incidentally the whole Council) in the public comment session, starting at 9.30am on 8th February.  If you can, please come along in support. To get to the Council Chamber, go in the door nearest the Events Centre, and up to the second floor by lift or stairs. Allow some extra minutes in case the door is closed and you have to go to the other end of the building. We will have Save Petone Wharf posters for people to hold. You do not have to speak - just be there to add impact! Our facebook page will soon be up and running as well.
