I just want to thank everyone who has signed this petition and let you know that the local councillors are noticing the growth. I have been told they are reading the comments so if you haven't commented it only takes a couple of minutes. The comments section on this petition is important. You can express your views about the proposal to combine all the leisure facilities into a single site with no leisure pool, or ice curling rink (from which we grow Olympians).

If you have already signed the petition and you want to add a comment

Save Perth City Leisure Pool 2024 Petition

  1. Click on “My petitions” at the top of the page, and then select the “Signed” tab.
  2. On your list of signed petitions, find the one you’d like to comment on, and click on it.
  3. Scroll down the page and find the “Reasons of signing” section. There, you’ll be able to add your own reason or comment!

Let’s try and get this to over 4000 by the end of the week by letting everyone know the petition is growing on social media or just chatting with your friends. That would be an outstanding result considering there has only be 5 days’ notice from the press release to the decision on Monday 22nd January.

I have been in contact with all the local councillors in the Perth and Kinross Area and have had several councillors express their support for keeping the leisure pool and existing facilities in Perth.

You can contact your local councillor using the Perth and Kinross website to find out their contact details (in the link below).

They do listen and I am sure will appreciate your opinions in this matter.

We must look to the future of Perth and what we have to offer with the vision we deserve.

Kind Regards

David Thomson
