This petition and pressure from across the academic, archive, library and theatre worlds is having an impact on the internal consolation process. Things are still in flux. We understand that the current situation still means fewer staff, plus these staff will be spread out across different departments, so not a specialist approach with a dedicated T&P department. The theatre galleries will still be open, but much of the expertise behind the scenes will have gone. We continue to argue our case to support staff,  theatre/ performance research and for the performing arts to be fully valued and supported in these difficult times.
