Thanks, in major part to each and every one of you, the Manatee County School Board committed to rebuild Palma Sola Elementary at yesterday's Board workshop. The Board members came to a UNANIMOUS consensus that Palma Sola will be rebuilt. The Board wants Palma Sola to be a shining star and play a major part in revitalizing Northwest Bradenton. Our public schools have so much to offer and their goal is to bring more families and children to our area. The discussion yesterday was about quality over quantity. Although a smaller school (currently), PSE's education is second to none. Our teachers take pride in what they do and it shows in our childrens' academic excellence. Our staff supports our children tirelessly. And the support of the School and its mission from the family and community is unwavering. Palma Sola was seen for the community gem it truly is yesterday. A true community school that is the pride of this neighborhood. As the weeks and months continue, the School Board will be having further discussion about what our school will look like in the future, along with the plan and timeline for construction. The Board wants community input and we encourage you to continue attending the meetings, or submitting public comment. Thank you all for your support!
