To help secure investment in speed calming measures for Paget Street, we need to gather more evidence.

As the allocation of funding is based on evidence and across the whole of Cardiff, councillors have advised that any incidents of excessive and dangerous speeding should be reported to:

101 – South Wales Police

Go Safe – online reporting

Please include as much detail as you can, such as the vehicle’s number plate, make, model, and colour. But don’t worry if you can’t get everything – it’s still important to report what you can.

We’re also asking for automatic speed monitoring to be introduced. It’s not always possible or safe for residents to capture the information needed, especially when vehicles are travelling at high speed.

But for now, please keep reporting these cases that are clearly dangerous.
