Democracy delayed is democracy denied.

The Government has postponed our local elections on the Isle of Wight (and in Hampshire) scheduled for 1st May 2025.

Despite the fantastic support of you and other like-minded people (the petition has received over 2025 signatures so far), there is no guarantee that elections will go ahead in May 2026 if the reorganisation of local government takes longer than planned!

The fight for our democratic right to vote continues and the petition will remain open.
