Dear colleagues,

Thank you for supporting this petition which has been shared amongst our nursing, medical, paramedic colleagues and even by our local community.

I am glad to post this update in that we have achieved a breakthrough and there will be a hold on the removal of the machines whilst  meetings will take place with the executives to discuss how to we can move forward to save the turtles!

Both the doctors and nursing unions have put in their support for their respective members and have reached out to myself and the hospital executives to voice their concerns about staff wellbeing and the lack of food and beverages overnight.

Once again, thank you for the support and we will prevail!
