Tonbridge Model Engineering Society has now been given assurance from Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council that the new Angel Centre, or alternative leisure facilities, will not be built on our site.
Matt Boughton, the Leader of the Council made the following statement “Cabinet confirms the existing position, that the site currently occupied by Tonbridge Model Engineering Society for the Miniature Railway continues to be available for this purpose and will not be used for alternative leisure facilities in Tonbridge. Cabinet also invites Tonbridge Model Engineering Society to put forward proposals to start a negotiation over an updated agreement between the two parties for this use on site.”
Trains will start running again from Easter and we look forward to welcoming you to rides through 2024 and for many years to come.
