WOW!

Hi Everyone!

A LOT has happened since yesterday!

• I created the Sign Up Genius yesterday for everyone to volunteer for distribution (for now via email but in person when government offices reopen)
• I was interviewed by a local reporter for our city's newspaper, Ann Arbor News, about the petition and what's at stake for those of us in the industry. I don't have a release date for the write-up, but I will let everyone know.
• I emailed a reporter, Minnyvonne Burke, about our cause and a link to this petition. She did an online article for NBC about the struggles our industries are facing, and thought she may be able to help get the word out. 
• I am now a tweeter? On Twitter? =) I have no idea how to use that social media platform but I opened an account anyway so come find me @KRISTIN75770276
• I received a link to a survey put out by ABS and Cosmetologists Chicago. If you have time today, do a quick web search for it (I filled it out so my link no longer works- I tried to add it below for ease.) I am highly encouraging all the cosmetologists who signed to fill it out
• I've made SO MANY UPDATES in language to the petition to include our sisters/brothers in the bodywork, tattoo, massage therapy, and tanning industries. THANK YOU everyone for reaching out to me!
