Petition updateSave Our Reds: Protect Britain's native red squirrels before it's too late

We've passed 85,000 signatures. And that's because of you.

This week, we passed 85,000 signatures. That's 85,000 people who looked at what's happening to Britain's native red squirrel and decided not to look away.

Because of you, this campaign has reached the BBC, Sky News, MPs and decision-makers across the country. What began as a petition has grown into something much bigger: a national movement calling for stronger protection for one of Britain's most loved native species.

We now have a published five-point plan setting out exactly what we're asking Government to do:

saveourreds.uk/our-policy

But we're not finished.

Our next milestone is 100,000 signatures, and it's within reach this summer.

So here's my favour to ask this week.

Would you share the petition with just one person who cares about British wildlife?

Just one.

Because if enough of us each reach one more person, we'll get there together.

85,000 people can't be ignored.

Thank you for believing Britain's red squirrels are worth fighting for.
