🚨 URGENT: WE NEED YOUR HELP NOW
The County has approved moving forward with the sale of the 7th & Brommer property to Community HousingWorks. The current proposal is for at least 100 affordable homes on just 2.36 acres, with a four-story apartment development immediately adjacent to existing homes.

This is not a done deal. The design is still being developed, and now is the time to speak up.

Why We’re Concerned
• 100 homes on just 2.36 acres is excessive for this site.
• A four-story development is dramatically out of scale with the surrounding neighborhood, where buildings are generally no more than two stories.
• Existing residents will be towered over, losing privacy, sunlight, and the character of the neighborhood.
• Traffic, parking, and safety concerns still need to be addressed.
• Existing trees and natural buffers should be preserved wherever possible.
• Community HousingWorks has committed to holding a community meeting in July to gather public input. This is one of the best opportunities we have to influence the project’s design before plans are finalized.

📣 Please Take Action Today

✅ Sign and share this petition.

✅ Attend the upcoming community meeting.

✅ Email our County Supervisors and ask them to advocate for a project that better fits our neighborhood by reducing the density, lowering the building height, preserving existing trees, and providing meaningful setbacks from existing homes.

The more voices they hear, the harder we are to ignore.

This isn’t about stopping housing. It’s about making sure a project of this size respects the people who already live here and fits the character of our neighborhood. Please act now before the design is finalized. Every email, every signature, and every voice matters.
