Petition updateSAVE OUR MUSEUMPROTEST Next Monday 23rd March 4.15pm outside the Town Hall on the steps

Next Monday 23rd March our petition is being debated by Oxford City Council.  We will be there to give an address, but we really need a strong visible presence as councillors arrive, to help them understand that this isn't just a niche issue they can ignore until it goes away.

With local elections coming up, councillors are more sensitive than usual about public opinion.  So please join us outside the Town Hall from 4.15 just for 45 minutes.

If you can make a personalised sign all the better.  We're asking people to avoid bringing placards that promote political parties as this is a grassroots campaign and is not aligned with any one party.  We welcome everyone who wants to keep the Museum of Oxford free and thriving.  We are very much looking forward to addressing the full council and will look forward to seeing as many of our supporters there as possible.   I think that I (on behalf of Save Our Museum) am speaking at 6pm but this time has to be confirmed.  You are also welcome to join us in the public gallery.  No one is allowed to speak from there but it is good to have a presence.
