A reminder to everyone that our mobile libraries are still running and are very much open at present! The decision to close them was called in for scrutiny, and with a strong campaign we really hope the County Council will see sense and keep a mobile service running for the benefit of our rural communities. Please do go and encourage others to go and use the mobile libraries too, even if they’ve never used one before! My dad turned up in his farm gator this afternoon in Petrockstowe to sign up for the first time! He met the lovely librarian Julie and was given a mobile library card and took out some fantastic books about Devon. Long may it continue! Check the timetables here and pop along to see what it has to offer! Books for all ages including toddlers! https://www.devonlibraries.org.uk/web/arena/mobilelibraries
