Good Evening, Save the Fairfield Community Supporters! We are having considerable success as evidenced by today's great media coverage—several stories and coverage by News 12 Connecticut story this evening, which you can see attached. I've reached-out to several politicians and tomorrow I have separate calls with two separate state senetors that have offered to help. We are nearing in on 3,500 signatures, but the value of what we're doing will come from the conversations that we're having and not just this petition. That said, by my estimates more than 8% of the voting community of Fairfield have signed this petition and given that the petition is only a proxy for public sentiment, we are able to conclude that many, many residents support this effort.
