Nuneaton and Bedworth’s own Matt Ford is the UK’s most experienced and versatile swing era vocalist, with over 2000 big band concerts, 4 BBC Proms, and numerous National TV and Radio appearances. Currently featured on SKY Arts’ 100 Years Of Big Bands, Matt’s 2022 album release From Abbey Rd features the single I Wanna Be Like You, that reached No. 1 in the iTunes Jazz Chart as well as placing in the UK Singles Chart Top 40.
Matt has performed in all of the UK’s Major concert platforms, including over 20 appearances at the Royal Albert Hall, Symphony Hall, Bridgewater Hall, The Barbican, Royal Festival Hall and Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall.
2023 started with appearances at The Royal Scottish Conservatoire and Sage Gateshead. Matt once again starred in Simply Sinatra at Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall in March, and later in the year will perform in concert with the Halle Orchestra in The Music of James Bond.
For this special one-night fundraising event, Matt will perform his usual mix of styles, from swing to rock and roll, and from country to pop.
