Dear friends,

We have had confirmation today that the motion that we have drafted for the City of Sydney Council to change policy and buy the boarding houses will be tabled and discussed at the first meeting of the newly elected Council. This takes place next Monday.

A huge thank you to Green's Councillors - Sylvie Ellsmore and Matthew Thompson, Independent Councillor Yvonne Weldon, and Labour Councillors - Zann Maxwell and Mitch Wilson for your continued strong support of, and advocacy for, our neighbours.

We know the Mayor and her team have great empathy for our neighbours and we hope that they come in behind the motion.
