Dear Friends of Dowses Beach:

A fellow signer brought to my attention that there is some confusion between donations made to Change.org and donations to our cause on the GoFundMe platform. The screenshot above shows the Change.org policy for refunds. Change.org is a non-profit, public interest platform, and I supported this very worthwhile organization with a donation when setting up our petition. That said, I hope they honor requests for donations mistakenly directed. I am unable to request refunds; these would have to be requested by individual donors. I have notified Change.org of the situation.
