TODAY - 5/21 - afterschool at 3pm, Wagner and Simon Baruch Middle Schools will be hosting rallies to support Manhattan Youth and demand accountability from DYCD! 

• Baruch, SALK, and School of the Future will be at Baruch Yard (Peter's Field E 20th and 2nd Ave).  
• Wagner and Yorkville East will rally at Wagner's Yard (220 E 76th).  

All supporters are welcome to join! Alumni, current families, incoming students - please join us.  Bring signs if you can. The rallies will still be held in light rain and expect to finish by 4pm.

The over arching complaint is the lack of transparency in the DYCD process with COMPASS awarding contracts for After School Programs without stakeholders involvement and ignoring School Principals' choices in providers for their schools.  This is not just about the schools involved, this effects ALL our students and families' rights to be part of the process and be heard.
