Many of you may remember signing and/or sharing my petition to keep OUR local ticket office staffed for good; over 1,000 of you did so! Well, I am delighted to announce that our voices have been heard, that common sense has prevailed! This is a real victory for our most vulnerable residents, who need assistance to be able to access public transportation, to live their lives fully and freely. Whilst this is not the end of the matter, as I know many residents agree that Olton station needs to be staffed more frequently (I will keep pushing for this), now is a moment to savour.
