First of all, thank you for signing this petition and bringing attention to this matter. As a result of public inquiry, the village has posted more information about the project on their website.

One helpful piece of information is that the sale of this property is contingent upon Village approval of these plans. While there is no reason for the Village Trustees to vote "No" (seeing as the plans themselves meet proper codes, etc), we are asking for a postponement of approval so that the public may have a chance to provide input. We may not be able to save the building, but it is our hope that we can have a positive effect on the shape of this new development. 

We ask that you contact your Village Board directly so they may be aware of all who feel that this impactful project deserves thoughtful consideration.
