Two rehabilitators say Nutkin was just scared

If you get scared and try to bat it away, you just make the squirrel scared and it gets defensive, more likely to hurt you. Stay calm and its less likely to attack.

Also, the squirrels I see don't lose a fear of humans even when I or others have fed them. Think it takes a lot of humans doing that before it becomes a problem.
